Programme goals

The goal of the program is for participants to gain knowledge on how to better manage finances in their CSOs and to provide greater transparency in the use of donor funds and own funds.

Contribution towards development of knowledge, skills and competences

At the end of the training the participants will:

  • strengthen their capacity with improved good management practices.
  • recognize the benefits of more transparent and accountable financial management in their CSOs.
  • be able to establish and practice a financial and transparent financial management system in organizations.

Programme content

  • Budget planning and budget control as tools for managing and managing finances, their advantages and disadvantages;
  • Procurement and process control procedures as a basic part of the process of obtaining adequate value for money in terms of larger donors and good practices;
  • Internal payment procedures and financial management of all expenses and expenses;
  • Project accounting system, electronic banking control system; a system of mutual transfer and reallocations between accounts and between budgets;
  • Internal and external independent audit and their procedures, objectives and reports;
  • Financial statements in the function of transparency and accountability of CSOs in order to show that their activities are in line with the declared values;

Vesna Bochvarska Cvetkovska

Vesna Bochvarska Cvetkovska holds a Master in South East European Law and European Integration obtained at the Karl Franzes University in Graz, Austria with Master thesis on: “Public Administration Reforms during the previous decade”. Since 2012, she is certified trainer, as well as external evaluator on CAF - model for quality management for public administration and was engaged to implement the model in several governmental institutions and municipalities during the previous years.
