How effective are the public sector employees in the current crisis when they are forced to work from home?

Date: 03.06.2020

Were you in need of cooperation with the administration during the crisis caused by Covid-19?

Did you communicate over the phone, via email, or did you have to put yourself in danger and go to the institutions?

Did the administration finish the job well?

The current crisis due to the global pandemic has shown that our public sector cannot fully operates outside regular offices. Absence of employees from regular locations
resulted in citizens' dissatisfaction with the services of the institutions, and in this case
a survey with a small percentage of responses to accessing public information. Reason
may be inaccessibility to information outside local area networks, possibly due to storage
data on a local server / computer, which means that it is not enough for the institutions to have only one thing in share folder, but also that it should be available on the cloud platform. On the other hand, maybe the absence of certain employees (for example, due to organized shifts in institutions due to the crisis) prevents the operation because no one else has their knowledge, it has not been shared.
